이번에 소개해드릴 음악은 같은 앨범인 Peace is the mission에 수록된 Title곡 Lean on 이에요.

 

Major Lazer라는 그룹의 커리어에 엄청난 기여를 하며, 역대 EDM곡들 중 유튜브 조회수 1위를 기록하기도 한 노래랍니다.

 

Lean on은 Major Lazer가 DJ Snake와 함께 작업하고 MØ라는 뮤지션이 불러 2015년 3월에 발매한 노래에요. 

 

3분이 채 안되는 짧은 음악이지만, 특유의 사운드와 뮤직비디오의 이국적인 매력이 겹치면서 인기를 얻었어요.

 

특히, 뮤직비디오는 대부분 인도에서 촬영하고 발리우드 댄스를 안무로 차용하였는데요.

DJ Snake

DJ Snake는 프랑스 파리 출신의 프로듀서 겸 DJ이에요.

 

2011년 레이디 가가의 Government hooker라는 노래의 프로듀서로 참여하면서 데뷔했어요.

 

이후, 2013년에 내놓은 싱글 앨범 수록곡 Turn down for what이 사람들에게 알려지면서 데뷔 앨범부터 인기를 얻었어요.

 

인기를 얻은 다음에는 Diplo, Major lazer 그룹을 만든 바로 그 디플로와 계약을 했답니다.

 

2018년에는 한국을 내한하기도 했어요.

 

 

 

MØ

Lean on을 부른 MØ는 덴마크 출신의 싱어송라이터에요.

 

2007년, MOR라는 듀오를 결성하고 2009년에 Fisse I Dit Fjæs를 발매하면서 데뷔했어요.

 

이후, 2012년 9월에 MOR가 해체하면서 MØ는 솔로로 활동해요.

 

Dear Boy - Avici의 곡을 피쳐링하기도 하고, Lean on외에도 Justin bieber와 함께한 Cold Water를 피쳐링하기도 했습니다.

 

이후, 싱글 앨범을 꾸준히 발매하며 인기 궤도에 꾸준히 오르고 있어요.

 

 

뮤직비디오에서는 특유의 매력있는 댄스로 사람들을 열광시키기도 했습니다.
